Ronald Koeman is demanding a staggering £7 million in compensation from Valencia after his dismissal this week.

DiarioSport says Koeman wants £7 million of the £8 million that was remaining on his contract before his sacking. However, Valencia's board do not want to go higher than £2.5 million.

Those close to negotiations say the two parties remain amicable and a compromise should be found.
