Southampton boss Ronald Koeman is delighted with their early transfer business.
Koeman has welcomed new signings Cedric Soares, Maarten Stekelenburg and Juanmi.
He told the Mirror: "Of course, that's the best way to have a good adaptation for the player that he starts quickly in the pre-season. In that case I'm happy with Maarten Stekelenburg, he's a goalkeeper because we know the injury of Fraser Forster will take some more months and we need three good goalkeepers.
"The second one is a great job with Cédric Soares, it's a player who is an international player, he made his debut for the Portugal national team and of course the signing of Juanmi made good publicity because he's a young player and that's good because that's part of our philosophy in the club that we like to work with young players, develop young players.
"Also like Cédric, Juanmi made his debut in the Spanish national team, great signings for the club."
