Former Feyenoord and Valencia coach Ronald Koeman is set to be named manager of Southampton.

The Mirror says Koeman agreed terms on Friday to succeed Mauricio Pochettino at St Mary's, and is expected to be unveiled when he returns from holiday.

He was first interviewed a fortnight ago but the deal looked to have stalled because of a dispute over the transfer budget he demanded.

However, the Saints' owner Katharina Liebherr has now promised Koeman a sizeable war chest to revamp the squad he'll inherit.
