"I've played about seven or eight games and played every game since I've been here, which is pleasing.
"I think I've had one bad game - against United - but I've put that behind me.
"I felt I had a good game at Bolton the other day and hopefully I can carry on in a good vein of form.
"It's all about going back to square one and I think after the Man United game I tried to go back to the basics."
He added: "As long as I know my weaknesses and try to strengthen them, that's the main thing. For the last few years I've not been used to playing week in, week out. I would find it frustrating to train all week and not have a game at the end of it."
