Sporting Kansas City has confirmed a local broadcast contract for next season, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. KMCI-TV, 38 The Spot will broadcast over 24 of the club's games and provide additional shoulder programming.
Few precise details were revealed but KMCI-TV vice president and general manager Brian Bracco was quoted by the Kansas City Business Journal as saying: "Sporting KC is a class organisation and definitely a premiere team in Major League Soccer. We're going to give Kansas City soccer fans unprecedented access, not only on KCMI, but [sister station] KSHB as well."
