Miroslav Klose admits his move to Lazio could not have turned out better.

The German international has been an instant success in Rome, scoring nine goals in 18 League games so far.

"This is a beautiful city," the veteran hitman said. "I've been welcomed here in a splendid manner by everyone.

"I'm playing for a great team and I'm happy with the decision I made in coming here."
