Alberto Moreno has revealed that the trust placed in him by Jurgen Klopp has contributed to his best football for Liverpool.
The Spanish left-back joined the Reds from Sevilla in the summer of 2014 when Brendan Rodgers was in charge but feels he is now really finding his feet under the tutelage of Klopp.
"It was hard at first with Brendan," Moreno said ahead of Thursday's Europa League semi-final against Villarreal.
"He didn't seem to count on me much. I trained, I was 100% and didn't play much. But that's now in the past.
"Working with Mr Klopp, he's put his trust in me and now I'm in one of my best moments as a footballer."
