Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp believes the club have rediscovered their status among the elite.
Klopp's men 'only' need to defeat an already-relegated Middlesbrough side at Anfield to guarantee Champions League football for only the second time in eight years.
Asked if confirming a top four place will mark the start of a new era for Liverpool, the German coach said: “I feel we are already. I really think we are kind of back on track.
“It should not sound disrespectful to the past. I really feel we are already on the way. Of course it is important that a club of our power needs to be at the top.
“It is all about making the right decisions and we feel comfortable and able to make the right decisions. That doesn't mean we have 100 percent guarantee but we really feel comfortable with the things we can do and things we will do."
