Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was delighted with the club debut of summer signing Sadio Mane.
The Senegalese winger, who joined the Reds from Southampton in late June, started and scored as the Reds defeated Arsenal 4-3 in their Premier League season opener at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
Mane's brilliant individual goal put the Reds 4-1 up just after the hour-mark in what was a promising early display from the £34million arrival who will only improve as he adjusts to life on Merseyside, according to Klopp.
"Good, good, good, but he can do even better," he said.
"The way we defended, they were all involved, Sadio too. We need to defend better and he's involved, but of course we saw in the pre-season and we saw today that in specific moments he is unbelievably strong.
"Being technically good and quick is a nice combination, so that's what we saw in the game and around the goal."
