Klopp pinpoints togetherness as Liverpool's driving force

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp believes togetherness is pushing his side through the Champions League.

Mohamed Salah's away goal against Manchester City in the second leg of their quarter-final tie, which virtually guaranteed their passage through to the next round, sparked delirium amongst the Reds players.

And Klopp reckons that was the sign of how tight the chemistry is amongst his players,

"It was obvious because even Loris was there," said Klopp on the goal celebrations.

"The boys felt the size of the goal. It was really, really special.

"But the boys created the atmosphere in the group. What is first, the atmosphere in the team or the success?

"In a successful team there is always a good atmosphere. Other teams can have a very good players but no group.

"The atmosphere is fine but it was fine around our 5-0 defeat to City and it was brilliant around our 4-1 defeat to Tottenham."
