Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp lost his rag with his players during their friendly win over Athletic Bilbao.

Liverpool finished their summer unbeaten ahead of the Premier League curtain raiser against Watford but Klopp obviously isn't one to rest on laurels.

During the win over Bilbao, Klopp's fury was picked up by the TV microphones.

He yelled: “August is too late to play like this.

“Play f***ing football!"

After the 3-1 win, Klopp said: "For half an hour today I'd say we played brilliant football.

"Then we lost organisation and gave them a few opportunities which changed the game a little bit.

“We've had a lot of games in pre-season and we didn't lose one. We had two draws and lost on penalties to Atletico Madrid. It's a good sign.

“We played well but gave up two chances before half time. But perfect in pre-season is the biggest mistake you can made. It is where you want to make wrong decisions."
