Klopp implores simplicity from Liverpool

Liverpoool manager Jurgen Klopp has urged his players not to overcomplicate things on the pitch.

Liverpool returned to winning ways on the weekend with a 3-1 triumph over Arsenal at Anfield and it has to be said that the Reds looked back to their attacking best on the night.

Now it remains to be seen as to whether Liverpool will be able to maintain their good form when Burnley pay a visit to Merseyside next weekend and Klopp believes that his side will have to keep things simple in order to claim a triumph over the Clarets.

Klopp said: "We have lots of experiences, in these games we have to make our lives easier in these games.

"I didn't see Burnley for a few weeks, but I will see them a lot this week and probably they defend with many legs, quite a good counter-attacking game.

"But Arsenal, they defended with many legs and quite a good counter-attacking game, yeah, we can expect this. Very often in the other games, we tried to play too small, and gave the ball easy away and invited them for the counter attack. That's not allowed.

"So we have to keep the game as simple as possible. At this moment we expect Burnley in the highest point of their season, but maybe we can surprise them with the things we've learned?"
