Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp insists that he named the strongest starting XI from the players at his disposal for the FA Cup third-round replay against Plymouth Argyle.
The likes of Daniel Sturridge, Philippe Coutinho, Divock Origi, Lucas Leiva and Alberto Moreno found themselves in the starting line-up for the game at Home Park.
The Reds claimed a 1-0 win over the League Two side thanks to an 18th-minute headed goal from Lucas Leiva which was his first for more than six years.
Following the game, Klopp said: "I named, again, the team I could name.
"That's what I always do. Only you judge it as stronger or weaker, I don't do this. It's all about who is available.
"When I have all available, then I can maybe decide about stronger or weaker. But if they are not all available, in our situation in the league is the case… we now play Saturday, then Wednesday, then Saturday, then Tuesday.
"If I would always let the same players play, I would be a real idiot. I don't do it. So, that was the team for today. We will see who we can line up on Saturday."
The third-placed Reds host bottom-of-the-table Swansea City at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday.
