Klopp had Liverpool scouts check on Dahoud against Man City

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is stepping up his bid for Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud.

The Daily Express says Klopp sent scouts to watch Borussia Monchengladbach star Dahoud in action against Manchester City on Wednesday.

And Klopp is now weighing up a £25m swoop for the 20-year-old German.

The Premier League heavyweights were eyeing a deal for Dahoud in the summer.

But Klopp was forced to abandon his move for the midfielder.

Gladbach are determined to keep hold of their talisman and refused to play ball.

However, Dahoud's current deal ends in 2018 - and it's suggested the playmaker is refusing to sign a new contract.
