Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says the club's facilities are available to LA Galaxy midfielder Steven Gerrard.
The 35-year-old returned to his home city earlier this month following the conclusion of the Major League Soccer campaign.
Klopp said: "He's not had that much holiday since he left Liverpool and went to LA, so now he is enjoying his holiday.
“It was good. He is a really, really good person. I liked it and enjoyed the time we spent together.
“We spoke about many things, but nothing is happening. He doesn't want to play next week, he doesn't want to train next week – he is on holiday. That's what I can say.
“If he does want to train [here] then of course he can, there's no question. He can use Melwood as he did for about 500 years, so there's no problem!
“Then he will go back to LA and train and play there."
