Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says he didn't ask David Wagner for advice on Crystal Palace in a conversation with his compatriot this week, reports Sky Sports.
Wagner's newly-promoted Huddersfield claimed a shock 3-0 win over the Eagles in their first Premier League game, while Liverpool were held by Watford on the opening day.
"Of course we saw the match and we saw the pre-season games of Crystal Palace, not just our match against them (in Asia) but all we could get," said Klopp.
"I have spoken to him [Wagner], of course. He said force them to make an own goal after a few minutes!
"The analysis will happen now and even if I could get each tip or advice from him, I didn't ask because it will be a different game, of course. That's what we are thinking about."
