Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp is being linked with Brendan Rodgers' job at Liverpool. The Mail on Sunday says Klopp has emerged as a leading contender for the Liverpool job if the Anfield hierarchy decide to axe Brendan Rodgers.
There are those at Liverpool who feel Rodgers deserves time to come through the current crisis, especially after coming so close to the Premier League title in May, and that he should be allowed the rest of the season at least.
But names are being bandied about the Anfield corridors of power and Klopp is frequently mentioned. Remarkably, another is former Chelsea and Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas, who is currently in charge of Russian club Zenit St Petersburg.
