Liverpool legend Michael Owen says Jurgen Klopp already has hero status on Merseyside.
The German has guided the Reds to five wins and three draws from nine matches since taking the reins from Brendan Rodgers in October and has quickly entered himself to the Anfield faithful according to Kop hero Owen.
"He's already a hero in these parts, they absolutely love him," Owen said on BT Sport following Thursday night's 2-1 come-from-behind win over Bordeaux in the Europa League.
"They haven't really caught fire at Anfield just yet but the results since he's taken over have been an improvement.
"They are doing well. They've now qualified for the next round of the Europa League and they're starting to creep up in the Premier League.
"And I think a lot of what he's saying in these parts is just hitting the right notes with the Liverpool fans.
"I think they like a manager that when they listen to him doing his interviews, a bit of humour, a bit of humility, and he's got those things.
"I think he's a big hero already and his style of football is going to be loved around these parts."
