Jurgen Klopp addressed his Liverpool players at training for the first time yesterday.
The Mirror says he gathered the players together for a pep talk, lasting just under five minutes, before taking his first training session at Melwood this afternoon.
Klopp spoke to the nine senior players present at Melwood, including stand-in skipper James Milner, Daniel Sturridge, Lucas, Mamadou Sakho and Philippe Coutinho.
It is understood the German briefly outlined what he expects from them as he builds up to his first match in charge against Tottenham on Saturday.
Klopp took the session, which lasted just over an hour, assisted by his coach Peter Krawietz and Pep Lijnders, the only survivor from Brendan Rodgers' first-team staff.
