Klinsmann: Ex-Man City, Rangers winger Beasley has matured

USA national team coach Juergen Klinsmann insists DaMarcus Beasley cuts a more mature figure than he has in the past.

The 29-year old recently ended a seven-year stint in Europe with the likes of PSV Eindhoven, Manchester City, Rangers and Hannover to join Mexican outfit club Puebla and upon recalling him to the national squad, Klinsmann is expecting a more established showing from the winger for matches against Honduras and Ecuador.

"DaMarcus, he completely moved out of his comfort zone," said Klinsmann.

"Coming back from Europe and being all over the place with up and downs that we all have in our lives, he kind of got his act together and he made that step going down to Mexico and proving himself.

"It shows his character and it shows you his willingness to fight through different environments and difficult moments.

"I think you see a far more mature DaMarcus Beasley now than you have seen probably a couple years ago, which is natural, it's a normal process."
