Toronto FC have hired the former Germany coach Jürgen Klinsmann as an adviser, reports The Guardian.
The struggling Major League Soccer team said Klinsmann and his company, SoccerSolutions, will help the club reorganise its infrastructure.
A star striker in Germany, England and Italy, Klinsmann scored 274 goals for club and country. As a coach, he led Germany to third place in the 2006 World Cup, spent a season at Bayern Munich and worked with LA Galaxy.
Toronto FC said Klinsmann will work closely with the interim director of football Earl Cochrane and the assistant general manager Jim Brennan.
