Kleberson still faces a battle to establish himself at Philadelphia Union.
The former Manchester United midfielder hit the winner against Toronto FC last week.
"I think anytime a player takes an opportunity well, I think it changes things," Union manager John Hackworth said. "But I wouldn't say that I would expect wholesale changes.
"He has some great qualities, and we're going to try to put the best team on the field against D.C. - and he certainly didn't hurt his chances by scoring that goal the way he did."
