Kiyotake guides ten-man Nurnberg away from relegation zone

Hiroshi Kiyotake netted his third Bundesliga goal of the season as FC Nurnberg continued their resurrection in the second half of the season.

The Japan international fired home from the edge of the area in the 46th minute as der Club came from behind to beat Eintracht Braunschweig 2-1 at the Stadion Nurnberg.

Domi Kumbela had edged die Lowen ahead in the 34th minute, two minutes after Nurnberg skipper Per Nilsson had been sent off for bringing down Havard Nielsen before Kiyotake got the Franconian outfit back on level terms.

Less than two minutes after the Blue Samurai ace had levelled, Nurnberg took the lead through Tomas Pekhart, and the scoreline remained that way until the final whistle.

The victory was Nurnberg's fourth in their past five league outings which allowed them to move four points clear of 16th-placed Hamburg while Braunschweig stayed at the foot of the German top flight.
