Burnley teenager Cameron Howieson became the club's youngest international when he was capped by New Zealand on Wednesday. The youngster, at just 17 years and 153 days, made a 72nd-minute substitute appearance for the Kiwis in their 2-2 draw against El Salvador in a friendly in Houston, USA.
Howieson, who recently signed a two-year professional contract with the Championship club, is now hoping to add to his senior caps during New Zealand's tour of the US and a qualifying round for the 2014 World Cup in the Solomon Islands.
