Kiwi hitman Woods scores debut European goal

New Zealand striker Chris Wood scored his first goal in European competition football, netting Birmingham City's final goal in their 3-0 win over Portuguese club Nacional.

The 19-year-old Wood, who is on loan with the English Championship side from West Bromwich Albion, scored from close range with four minutes left as Birmingham advanced to the Europa League group stage 3-0 on aggregate.
