Kitson: Stoke better for Bolton defeat

Dave Kitson is confident Stoke City will bounce back from their Premiership opening day defeat to Bolton Wanderers.

Aston Villa are next up for the Potters next weekend, and the club record signing insists the Potters are good enough to get something out of the game.

"We have a lot of young players here and today was a learning curve for them," Kitson told Stoke's website. "But they are all very good players and I believe they have what it takes to make it in this division.

"Ricardo scored a great goal at the end and that gave the supporters, who were fantastic, something to cheer about.

"It will do Ric a power of good to have got his first goal straight away, so he will be raring to go again next week."
