Kinsella chuffed to be given Aston Villa call-up

Lewis Kinsella has spoken of his first Aston Villa senior team call-up.

The 20-year old left-back was added to the Villa senior squad by manager Tim Sherwood for the Premier League clash with Newcastle United at the start of the month and was also involved during the West Midlands derby double-header with West Bromwich Albion over the past week.

Watford-born Kinsella is yet to receive his Villa debut but says just being in and around the playing group has been a massive thrill.

"It was unbelievable to get the call. I didn't expect it," he told AVTV.

"Everything you imagined it would be like, it is - and more.

"It was incredible. It still doesn't feel real. It's like a dream come true.

"It gives me a huge lift to be involved.

"To be with the first team for that Newcastle game was a brilliant experience."
