Kinnear stays positive after Houston Dynamo defeat

Houston Dynamo head coach Dominic Kinnear remained positive after his team fell to arch rivals San Jose this weekend. Speaking after the game, Kinnear said: "It was an entertaining game. Both teams brought a lot of heart and commitment. For the average fan watching on TV, if you don't like that, you don't like soccer. It was a hard-fought contest but we are disappointed we didn't come up with something more."

With his team coming back from two goals down to finally lose 3-2, Kinnear wanted to focus on his team's spirit even though it didn't garner any points.

Kinnear continued: "It was a great field, great weather, with two teams that are very competitive and want to go forward rather than sit back. For us it was important that we try to get on top of them early and even though we didn't, it showed the tremendous character of our guys to fight until the end. It's just two teams trying their best to win games."
