Houston Dynamo head coach Dom Kinnear has signed a three-year contract extension.

The 44-year old Scottish-born former USA international has been rewarded for his efforts in guiding the Dynamo to three MLS Cup finals in six years.

Kinnear had a year to run on his old deal but the Dynamo decided to tear that up and offer him a fresh four-year contract which will be officially announced early this week.
