Angus Kinnear has been named new Arsenal marketing director.

Kinnear's appointment signals the start of major restructuring and investment into the Club's commercial operation. Under the guidance of chief commercial officer Tom Fox, five new senior positions have been identified in order to broaden the Club's reputation and maximise revenue streams on a global scale.

Kinnear, who has been promoted from his previous role as head of marketing, has been with the Gunners for five years.

Gunners chief Ivan Gazidis told the club's website: "This major restructuring of our commercial talent will enable us to make great strides in our worldwide commercial operation. This substantial investment, made possible even in such challenging economic times by our strong self-sustaining business model, will help us to drive our business forward and expand our global reach.
