Richard Kingson has hit back at Birmingham City co-owner David Sullivan after leaving the club last week.
Now World Cup star Kingson has hit back. He said: "There is nothing in the statement Mr Sullivan made that any human being can be proud of. When an elderly person opens his mouth, wisdom should come out of it, but in this case I am afraid not.
"I am not leaving the club because of his comments, but because I cannot accept the fact that I have been left on the bench.
"I play in a world-class national team and I want regular action. I wish the Birmingham team and fans all the best in future."
