Joshua King signed a brand new deal with AFC Bournemouth on Thursday.
The 24-year-old striker has been rewarded with a four-year deal by the Cherries which will see him remain at Dean Court until the summer of 2020.
King only joined Bournemouth from Blackburn Rovers last summer but has already made an impact on the south coast, evidenced by the club's desire to tie him down for the long-term.
"I'm very delighted," King told Cherries Player.
"It's good to be rewarded when you have a good season. There's loads of players who have signed new deals in the past few months, who have deserved it, so I am very happy to sign for four more years.
"The manager mentioned it to me when we came back after a week or so in pre-season and said 'I want to give you a new contract because you deserve it'.
"I've just been focused on pre-season and letting my agent and the chief executive handle the deal. I'm just glad it's done and I can focus on the new season."
Norway international King, formerly of Manchester United, scored six goals in his debut season with Bournemouth in 2015/16.
