King priority is Tottenham stay
Ledley King's priority is to sign a new deal with Tottenham.
He will resist any suggestion by the club that any new deal should be related to appearances, even though he struggles with a chronic knee condition that stops him training
A source close to centre-back King, who signed a two-year extension to his contract worth about £60,000 a week in May 2010, told the Daily Express: “Tottenham is Ledley’s club. There is no question that he wants to stay there.
“We are just hoping the club look after him.”
