King planning to make it for two Tottenham games in a row

Tottenham defender Ledley King says he feels fine to play his second match in a row for the first time in more than a year.

The 30-year old club captain has failed to play twice in a row due to constant groin and knee injuries but after getting through a full 90 minutes of Sunday's 2-0 win over Liverpool at Anfield, he says he is ready to take on Birmingham city at home this weekend.

"I am fine. I have a few little aches and pains now but that's normal and with the recovery it's been so far so good, so hopefully I will be involved in the last game on Sunday," King told Spurs TV Online.

"It was great to be back playing. I made my debut at Anfield so it's a stadium that holds a lot of memories for me. It was nice to be part of such a great team performance that got the win."
