King opens contract talks with Tottenham

Tottenham skipper Ledley King has begun negotiations over a new contract.

The Daily Mail says Tottenham have opened talks with King over a new contract but the injury-prone centre half, 31, will reject a pay-as-you-play deal.

King’s deal expires at the end of the season.
