King: Leicester intent on maintaining winning run

Andy King has stated that Leicester City are keen on continuing their winning run in the Premier League.

Leicester have started off their campaign in fine fashion with two victories from their opening two fixtures and the Foxes are hitting back at their critics with their early season form.

While not many believe that Leicester will be able to hold on to their current lofty position in the Premier League, midfielder King is hopeful that his side can continue their winning run for as long as possible.

King said: "We have worked incredibly hard in training so it is brilliant to see us go out there and put it into practice on the pitch. The boys have been fantastic in these opening two games, attacking, scoring goals, but also our defensive shape and organisation has been top-notch as well.

"We have changed some little things but we will keep that between ourselves. We want to keep the winning run going and don't want to be telling anyone our secrets. We are delighted and we want to keep this winning run going for as long as possible, but we know we are only two games into the season.

"As we learned last season, you can go on long runs without winning any games. We need to make sure that doesn't happen. But in terms of picking up where we left off last season, it couldn't have gone any better for us."
