Tottenham defender Ledley King is confident he will make the 20-start target suggested by manager Harry Redknapp to earn a new contract.
The 31-year old continues to battle chronic knee problems which restrict him to the number of matches he can play in a row and also affects his time spent on the training ground.
Redknapp has given King a 20-start goal in order for him to earn a new deal and the former England international is confident a fresh contract will be sorted.
"As yet I have not heard anything. I'm just trying to play as many games as I can and we will see where that takes me.""I've left it between my agent and the chairman," said King who has made 11 starts this term.
