Former Tottenham captain Ledley King insists they can finish in the top four without Gareth Bale.
Bale left Spurs for Real Madrid in the final days of the summer market.
King told the London Evening Standard: "Gareth scored 26 goals for us last season and we need to share those out with the players we have brought in and maybe score a few more. If we can do that, then there is absolutely no reason why we shouldn't be in the top four and improve on last season.
"Gareth was a match winner but it is up to the team as a whole, everyone has to step up that extra five per cent this campaign. We definitely have got enough quality in the squad to qualify for the Champions League."
