Marlon King has rubbished suggestions that his move to Fulham is in the balance on account of a failed medical.

The two clubs are still talking to each other and King has rubbished suggestions that he had failed a medical.

"How can I fail a medical when Fulham haven't pulled out of a deal and talks are ongoing?" stated King.

Rumours suggest that King's days in the game are numbered on account of his knee problem, but his agent has dismissed the talk.

"Reports that Marlon may be finished in three years are utter rubbish," said Tony Finnigan. "He will play football comfortably until he is 35.

"In my opinion, Fulham have used it (knee problem) as part of their negotiation tactics, which they are entitled to do."
