Ledley King accepts his playing days are over at Tottenham.
The Sunday Mirror says King has accepted he must now retire from playing and has been in discussions with Tottenham about his next job.
King has already been made an ambassador of Mayor of London Boris Johnson's plan to regenerate Tottenham and he will be heavily involved in Spurs' community and new stadium projects.
Tottenham will also give King the chance to coach and pass on his vast expertise to some of the lower age-level players Tim Sherwood is in charge of.
