Kim on target as Cardiff remains clear on top

Kim Bo-kyung scored his second Championship goal for Cardiff City as they defeated Blackpool 2-1 at Bloomfield Road on Saturday.

The South Korean midfielder opened the scoring in the 54th minute when he rifled home after receiving a neat pass from Aron Gunnarsson before Gary Taylor-Fletcher levelled for the Seasiders six minutes later.

But the Bluebirds edged ahead in the 64th minute when the returning Tommy Smith fired home from the edge of the area to go 10 points clear at the top of the table with Leicester City and Hull City equal on 50 points in second and third respectively.

Kim has now scored twice in 16 appearances for Cardiff following his first goal for the club in the 4-1 win at Blackburn Rovers on December 7.
