Kilmarnock's Naismith ready for Rangers showdown

Kilmarnock striker Steven Naismith is confident he can handle the hype over their looming date with Rangers this weekend.

Gers failed no less than four times to land Naismith this summer, but the young Scot says: "The game being against Rangers doesn't change anything.

"I'm just going to go out and play my normal game as I do every time.

"Everything that's happened has probably helped me in terms of becoming stronger through the experience. This is the first time things like the speculation have happened to me and I will learn from it.

"I think that's it now. The season has started and we don't want it hanging over the club. It's all in the past and I just want to get on with my football and score a few more goals - that is what I enjoy most."
