The 29-year old winger feels he may need to compete in a higher profile competition to boost his reputation.
Speaking to the Sunday Mail, he said, "The one thing I want to do before my career ends is play for the Socceroos but I feel I'm forgotten about because I play in the SPL (Scottish Premier League)."
