Kilmarnock winger Silva out for up to two months

Kilmarnock have been rocked by the news that Portuguese winger David Silva is set for up to two months on the sidelines.

The 24-year old sustained medial ligament damage in his knee early in the 4-1 win over Hibernian on the weekend and will now miss at least six weeks which is a major blow says Killie manager Kenny Shiels.

"David will be out for six weeks, maybe eight,” he told the Daily Record.

"It causes a problem for us because he and James Dayton had been doing well out wide for us."
