Kilmarnock boss Jim Jefferies admits it is "far too early to say" whether the club will sign Huddersfield striker Keigan Parker. The 26-year-old has trained with the Scottish Premier League outfit over the last few days with a view to securing a permanent transfer to the Ayrshire club.

And Jefferies told BBC Scotland: "I don't know whether they'll let him go or what the personal terms would be and whether I can afford to bring him in.

"But at least we get to meet the lad and he can get in among the players and get a wee feel for the club.

"But it's far far too early to say whether we would be interested or could do something."
