Kilmarnock have signed a pair of free agents both on two-and-a-half-year deal.
27-year old full-back Billy Berntsson has arrived at Rugby Park from Swedish second division outfit GIF Sundsvall after spending the past five seasons in his homeland with both Sundsvall and Falkenberg.
Prior to that he had a three-season spell with Danish club Herfolge after his initial two-year stay with Malmo.
23-year old midfielder Benjamin Laurant has joined after being released by French Ligue 2 club Le Havre.
Killie boss Mixu Paatelainen said both players would add plenty of depth to his squad.
"Billy Berntsson is a full-back who is very positive and he gives us cover in the defensive area, on the right and left-hand sides,” he said.
"We've also added another player to the squad, Benjamin Laurant, a French midfielder.
"We feel he is a skilful player who can make things happen and also give us plenty of cover for the midfield positions."
