Kilmarnock midfielder Mehdi Taouil has emerged as a target for Heart of Midlothian reports suggest.
The 27-year old Moroccan played under Hearts manager Jim Jefferies and assistant Billy Brown when the pair were at the helm at Rugby Park up until mid-January last year and now they want to bring him over to Tynecastle.
Brown insisted that the former Montpellier, Nuremberg and Nancy man would be a great fit at Hearts.
"He is a player that we've always liked," he said.
"He's at the right age and he's the type Jim and I like at a football club. We hope to get him but it isn't a certainty we will get him."
