Kilmarnock's Shiels guilty of bringing game into disrepute

Kilmarnock manager Kenny Shiels has been found guilty of bringing the game into disrepute by a Scottish Football Association disciplinary tribunal.

Shiels has been handed a four-game touchline ban, with two matches suspended until the end of next season, for comments he made in a recent radio interview.

The Killie boss claimed that Scottish champions Celtic had a 'massive influence' over disciplinary hearings and named them the 'monster of Scottish football' and has been found guilty of breaching two SFA rules.

Shiel has 'brought the game into disrepute and failed to act in the best interests of the game by calling into question the judicial panel and questioning the integrity of another member club.'
