Kilmarnock's Paatelainen not getting carried away with fourth place

Kilmarnock manager Mixu Paatelainen was remaining calm despite seeing his side replace Inverness Caledonian Thistle in fourth with a 3-1 away win.

Killie came away with a much-deserved three points thanks to goals from Craig Bryson, Liam Kelly and Jamie Hamill but the Finnish tactician was not getting carried away with their current standing.

"We are fourth just now and while we are pleased with that, we are not getting carried away because the season is just approaching the halfway stage," he said.

"We are on a good run at the moment, but we know that you can go on a bad run at any time as well.

"Hopefully, we can maintain the strengths we have as a team, while improving on our weaknesses.

"I have been in the game long enough, however, to know that it can all change very quickly, even if it's going well for you.

"The most important thing is that we keep our heads down and work hard to maintain the position we currently find ourselves in."
