Kilmarnock land Norwich striker Jarvis

Kilmarnock have snapped up Norwich City striker Ryan Jarvis on-loan.

Jarvis, 21, takes the place of Paul di Giacomo in the Kilmarnock squad after manager Jim Jefferies let the 25-year-old move to Irn-Bru First Division side Partick, also on a loan basis.

Jefferies was delighted to land Jarvis and said: "He's done very well whenever I've seen him recently.

"It's good for us to bring a new face into the club and it's good for the boy to have a chance to play first-team football.

"You only have to look at the examples of Anthony Stokes and Kasper Schmeichel at Falkirk to see how a move like this can benefit clubs and players."
